NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), 16-Hour Provider Course

NAEMT’s Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit. 

This will be a lecture and hands-on class.

Equipment needed:

Training IFAK, tourniquets, litters, body armor, radios, training weapons/kit, etc. (if issued)

Cost: $325.00-400.00 (w/IFAK) per person

Low Light / No Light Medical Operator, 16-Hour Course

This course will utilize 16 hours of combined
classroom lecture, hands-on practical exercises and scenario-based training. This specialized medical course is structured for pre-hospital medical providers who wish to gain a strong knowledge base inoperating in an environment where noise and light
discipline is a priority. This course is physically
demanding and will challenge students mentally from multiple angles.

This will be a lecture and hands-on class.

Equipment needed:

1. Appropriate clothing (preferably camouflage or subdued
uniform) and footwear for being in woodland environment for extended periods
of time
2. Full kit- Amor, belt, helmet, and weapons w/lights ( no live ammunition
allowed) Note- If you do not carry a weapon for work, do not bring one.
3. Compass - recommended is Silva Explorer Pro Compass (31.49 amazon)
4. Protractor - recommended is GOTICAL Military UTM/MGRS Coordinate
Scale Protractor (10.95 amazon)

K9 Medical Operator Course, 16-Hour Course

The K-9 Medical Operator Program provides professional K-9 handlers, tactical medics, EMS providers and other K-9 support personnel with the knowledge base and skills needed to prevent and treat injuries and illnesses to working dogs. Mastery of these skills requires specialized emergency medical training in a tactical training environment. The K-9 Medical Operator Course accomplishes this by teaching human medical practitioners how to transfer their existing medical skills to the treatment of their K-9 patient, using live dogs and high fidelity K-9 medical simulators, for invasive and advanced procedures. 
 

Equipment needed:

 Note taking material. Recommend to bring K9 and K9 properly equipped vehicle to hold K9 while not training.

Patrol Response to Active Shooter with Shield and TEMS Integration, 8-Hour Course

Ballistic Shield Use During Active Shooter Events

This course of instruction will teach patrol officers clearing techniques used in structures during searches and active shooter situations. The officer will learn deliberate and dynamic searches. The shield teams will integrate with responders and form rescue teams. The students will learn to properly position the shields to maximize safety of responders and victims during triage and movement. This is a fast paced course with mostly hands on instruction.

This class is for both Police officers and rescue personnel tasked with entering warm or potential hot zones while conducting rescues. 

Equipment needed:

Full Kit (Armor/helmet/gun belt) Airsoft Pistol/Rifle, Ballistic shields / Ancillary gear used during active shooter events / Eye protection- goggles recommended / note book / hydration etc.

Spec War Solutions

Tubular Assault Course (Buses & Trains), 8-Hour Course

This 1 day hands on, intensive course will instruct students on tactics, techniques  and procedures in relation to tubular (linear) style assaults.  Students will train on both commercial buses and trains. 

 

Students will be given an orientation on train and bus operations, threats and window ballistic considerations. The remainder (and majority) of the class will be hands on training onboard various trains and buses. The class will include force on target practicals and force on force scenarios.

 

There are no prerequisites for this course.  It is encouraged but not required that students be members of a tactical team, therefore all law enforcement students are welcome. 

Cost: $250.00

Equipment needed:

  • Patrol Rifle (if so equipped) w/ 2 magazines (this course includes UTM drills, we have SOME blue bolts if you bring your own rifle.)

  • Duty gear to include body armor

  • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

  • Hydration system or water bottle

  • Hearing protection
     

Students are encouraged to bring their own rifle and “blue bolt” if they have it. It is also possible and certainly acceptable to do this course with pistol only if the student is not equipped with a patrol rifle. We will have a limited number of extra UTM rifle bolts available. UTM marking cartridges will be available for purchase or the student can supply their own marking cartridges. 

UTM (5.56/.223) ammo is sold in 30 round boxes.  Students will need one, maybe 2 boxes. Cost for UTM ammo is as follows: $30/box. Payment for UTM ammo can be made the day of the course via check, cash, Venmo or Zelle only.  

NOTE: UTM is a specific brand of bolt and marking cartridge. Different brands/manufacturers are typically not interchangeable.

Students that are only using a pistol will be given an air soft pistol to compete the force on force exercises. 

Students are reminded that under no circumstances should live ammunition be anywhere in the training facility.  DO NOT BRING LIVE AMMUNITION TO THIS COURSE.

MACTAC For Patrol Officers, 8-Hour Course

This 1 day intensive course covers the next generation of active shooter response, MACTAC (Multi-Assault, Counter Terrorism Action Capabilities).

Topics covered include a MACTAC overview, small unit (two, three, four person) tactics, immediate action drills, Rescue Task Force, and force on force scenarios.

Cost: $250.00
