Medicine in Bad Places Training Cadre
NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), 16-Hour Provider Course
NAEMT’s Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) teaches EMS practitioners and other prehospital providers how to respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as TECC providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.
This will be a lecture and hands-on class.
Equipment needed:
Training IFAK, tourniquets, litters, body armor, radios, training weapons/kit, etc. (if issued)
Cost: $325.00-400.00 (w/IFAK) per person

Low Light / No Light Medical Operator, 16-Hour Course
This course will utilize 16 hours of combined
classroom lecture, hands-on practical exercises and scenario-based training. This specialized medical course is structured for pre-hospital medical providers who wish to gain a strong knowledge base inoperating in an environment where noise and light
discipline is a priority. This course is physically
demanding and will challenge students mentally from multiple angles.
This will be a lecture and hands-on class.
Equipment needed:
1. Appropriate clothing (preferably camouflage or subdued
uniform) and footwear for being in woodland environment for extended periods
of time
2. Full kit- Amor, belt, helmet, and weapons w/lights ( no live ammunition
allowed) Note- If you do not carry a weapon for work, do not bring one.
3. Compass - recommended is Silva Explorer Pro Compass (31.49 amazon)
4. Protractor - recommended is GOTICAL Military UTM/MGRS Coordinate
