Class Description
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals and trained responders who are required to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in clinical and professional settings.
This course emphasizes high-quality CPR, early recognition of cardiac arrest, effective team dynamics, and rapid use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will gain the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to respond confidently and effectively until advanced care arrives.
Course Topics Include:
Early recognition of cardiac arrest and activation of emergency response systems
High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
