Instructor Bio-
C. Taylor Bracken
Taylor is a highly decorated law enforcement officer that is currently assigned to
his agency’s K-9 unit. Taylor is a Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)
certified Active Shooter Instructor, has been a Nationally Registered Paramedic
for 15 years and still works currently as one. Prior to his law enforcement career,
Taylor was a New York City Fire Fighter (FDNY) where he worked in Manhattan on
one of the city’s designated Haz-Tac Engines. Taylor has been published in “The
Tactical Edge,” “K-9 Cop” and “Police K-9” magazines. Taylor is one of the
founding members of R.A.N.T. Strategies, Response, Assessment, Navigation &
Training and is a lead instructor for their training courses.
