ORLANDO STRONG-PULSE NIGHTCLUB SHOOTING

STUDENT
Hawkins Avenue

Service Description

Paramedics Carlos Tavarez and Josh Granada were working another night on Orlando Fire Departments busy Rescue 7 in Downtown Orlando. They had just dropped a patient off at Orlando Regional Medical Center when a lone subject with a high-powered rifle started shooting innocent people in a nightclub just 1000 yards from the ORMC ambulance ramp. These Paramedics decided to choose life over policy and effectively transported 13 innocent victims with life-threatening injuries saving many lives that otherwise would not have survived. Hear the recap of what went right and what went wrong that night from the 2 Paramedics that redefined the term 'lifesaving actions' Carlos Tavarez, FF/EMT-P, FP-C, Josh Granada, FF/EMT-P
