Service Description
Basically falling right around the 25 year anniversary of Hurricane Andrew, Hurricanes Harvey & Irma made landfall causing an estimated $200 billion of destruction for both hurricanes. Lives and livelihoods were lost. People injured. Careers demolished. Local, state and federal assets of all types were deployed to aid and all had their own important parts. This session will dive into part of the response from the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) perspective to both Hurricanes Harvey & IRMA.
